Resilient Food Systems (RFS) country project representatives, partners and Consultative Committee members, along with other practitioners and stakeholders, are invited to attend the RFS Final Workshop, to be combined with a Science-Policy Learning Day capitalizing on RFS learnings for improved policy advocacy in Africa.
Pre-workshop activities will start on 6 June with the Science-Policy Learning Day, co-hosted with the African Union Commission. This will be a dedicated space for programme stakeholders to engage with key stakeholders working on food systems transformation in the continent and exchange knowledge on best practices, methods, tools and evidence-based solutions that can impact policy directives for strengthening institutional frameworks for resilient food systems.
Informed by proceedings from this initial discussion, the Resilient Food Systems Final Workshop will then take place on 7-8 June 2023. It will provide opportunities to:

For UNEP-sponsored participants of the Final RFS Workshop and Science Policy Learning Day in Naivasha, Kenya, UNEP will provide subsistence allowance as per UN rules and regulations to cover accommodation, transportation, and incidental costs for the duration of the meeting. This will be paid on the first day of the workshop. Details on how to use the DSA cards are detailed in this information note.
